MSU Digital Archaeology Collections is a project developed by Zachary Francis-Hapner as the result of the 2019-2020 Cultural Heritage Informatics Fellowship. This Project is one step of many being taken in the anthropology department to make our archaeological collections more accessible. This project, in particular, achieves this by taking actual data from our Kora digital repository and displaying that data throughout this website. Currently there is a rudimentary search function and full records page available for data. future plans include the development of a browsing system for sorting records; better design; more versatile search options, a page explaining our metadata scheme and the continued digitization of our collections. Please come visit this project again to see my progress!
